The tour was fabulous. Very

"The tour was fabulous. Very informative and well paved. I’d highly recommend this if you are at all interested in the manufacture of shoes and boots especially those made in Northamptonshire. At the end of the tour we were taken back to the shop where I purchased a pair of NPS boots. I’m so glad that this place is doing well. Can’t wait for my next pair."

A great experience

"Went on the recent tour to see how these products are made and got a good understanding of what the production process involves to make a great pair of shoes. Add in detail of the supply chain, company history and why the product was made in this particular location and you have a great experience plus a discount on what you buy! A morning well spent."

Factory tour is great, amazing

"Factory tour is great, amazing to see all of the machinery and plenty of footwear at various states along the production line. It’s reassuring to know the ethical way materials are sourced and their quality. Great that the boss Christian takes this time to connect with his customers."

Interesting, informative and not just about shoes!

"From booking to the tour itself, this was a great experience. I've never visited a shoe factory before, but knew a bit about shoemaking from speaking to people, museum exhibits and particular television shows. I had heard of Solovair and liked the shoes I had seen, so I was really pleased that it was possible to book a tour of the factory. All the people involved in the tour were welcoming, friendly and helpful. It was easy to ask questions and learn about both the history of the company and how that has changed the manufacture of shoes at the factory. The company deserves a higher profile because of their history and all the different innovations they have made to continue where so many others have failed. I highly recommend anyone interested in shoes, social history or both to do this tour!!"
