FACTORY VISIT: BRITISH INDUSTRIAL ARCHIVES

We recently welcomed the British Industrial Archives to the NPS factory as part of their contemporary visual record documenting British craft and industry.

UK-based photographer Carmel King founded British Industrial Archives having been inspired by her own family's three-generation textile firm and began capturing many of Britain's leading craftspeople, heritage brands and manufacturers at the forefront of UK industry.

The British Industrial Archives is an evolving archive and is not intended to be a directory but serves as a social documentary record to honour manufacturers around Britain for their dedication and perseverance.

NPS Shoes is privileged to feature in The Archive alongside other fine makers including Bellerby & Co, Blackhorse Lane Atelier and Kaymet.
