SSG : Tell us a bit about your early life. Where were you born?
TS: I was born in London, in a household full of women. I have three sisters. I grew up surrounded by music in the house, from my parents' CDs to my sisters' boyfriends' mixtapes.

SSG: What was the first music you can remember listening to?
TS: My first love was Oasis' "Live Forever"; not much has changed since then. Still one of my favourite bands.

SSG: When would you say music started to inspire your life?
TS: I think I always knew I wanted to work in music ever since I was a kid. I probably didn’t think it was possible until bands I loved started to encourage me that I could do it. Keane & Travis were huge supporters of mine in the early days.

SSG: Do you have hobbies or interests outside of music?
TS: I love going to the cinema and playing football with my friends. Music seems to soundtrack most of my days, though.

SSG: How would you describe your music to someone who hasn't heard it before?
TS: It’s definitely in the singer-songwriter lane, with the main focus being my voice and my acoustic guitar. I think if you like hopeful acoustic music, it might be for you.

SSG: Where does your musical inspiration come from?
TS: All the greats: Dylan, Lennon, Simon & Garfunkel. Great songwriters.

SSG: Which of your songs is most personal to you?
TS: I think "Everything's Waiting for You" is a standout track of mine. It sums up everything about my music.

SSG: Who have you most enjoyed working with?
TS: I love the Turin Brakes boys + playing with my band. My favourite tour was with Stereophonics. Too many people to mention, though, really.

SSG: What has been your greatest achievement in your music career so far?
TS: I think the fact that I'm still going, working on album four.

SSG: What is the biggest challenge of being an artist today?
TS: Not getting lost in the noise. I’m still working this one out.

SSG: What are your plans for the future? (Albums, Tours, etc.)
TS: I'm writing album four as we speak. Lots of festivals & support tours this year though! 2025 is going to be super busy. This year has been super creative. Still lots of new music to come.

SSG: How did you discover Solovair?
TS: I’ve been a big fan for a while! I think they make timeless boots. Well-made & effortlessly cool. Super comfy too. I can’t remember the first moment because it feels like I’ve been aware of them since I got into fashion.

SSG: Can you describe your clothing style?
TS: I would say quite minimal with a touch of British indie to it. I love timeless items that I feel comfortable in.
