Rub-Off is a two tone colour with a darker top coat. As this effect is produced by hand the colour may differ slightly to the pictures shown. With general wear, the rub off will become more pronounced, but you can use our Solovair natural renovating cream to maintain the appearance.

Applying a suede protectant before wearing your footwear for the first time will help guard the surface. A suede brush can be used to remove dust and restore the nap after each use. Suede and Nubuck finishes should be kept away from large amounts of water due to its porous quality.

Amazing boots

"I got these boots, slightly worried that they'd be too big for me according to the foot measurements on the size guide but I took the chance anyway because the design and style of the boots is just unmatched. I have relatively wide feet and also wear orthopedic insoles in all my shoes so I hoped that might give me a better chance of them fitting. Happily, they fit perfectly and still have comfortable amount of room in the toe box (width-wise). The leather also feels amazing and the shoes feel perfectly rigid and supportive as I like them."

I usually get the solovair

"I usually get the solovair derby boots so these gripfast were a bit of a change, The leather quality and build is top on these, im on the break in stage at the moment but no issues or negative comments from me, the fit is perfect for my foot and the steel toe im a big fan of, I thought the 10 eye would be too tall compared to the 8 i usually get but it adds to the comfort stability and fit, I will purchase another colour in time, 10/10"

I might took the boots

"I might took the boots a little bit too big i went for a 9,5 when a 9 would have been perfect but they are still pretty confortable to me. I still have to brake in these boots but they seem to be exactlly what I wanted i hope i made the right choise between hi-shine and grease. I hi-shine are beautifull for now i hope i will be able to preserve them"

Durable and long lasting

"These are my favorite work boots. I am able to wear them 5 days a week for 2 years straight. This is my 5th or 6th pair of Gripfast's. I only get new ones cause the soles wear down (and I don't feel like getting the soles replaced), the uppers are still in great condition."

"This is my first pair of Solovair boots, moved over from Dr. Martens. As promised by many folks online within punk circles as well as in other places these feel much higher quality than typical Martens. "A beautiful boot! I initially ordered a 7. 5 which was too large, but was easily able to swap it out for a 7 which fits well. I imagine the fit would be even better for someone with wide feet. Some tiny ring-shaped pieces (leather? plastic?) fell out of the eyelets when I was lacing the boots but there has otherwise been no issue."
