Due to the nature of Greasy leather a layer of Dubbin may be required to achieve the pictured look.

Applying a suede protectant before wearing your footwear for the first time will help guard the surface. A suede brush can be used to remove dust and restore the nap after each use. Suede and Nubuck finishes should be kept away from large amounts of water due to its porous quality.

Excellent boots! I normaly wear

"Excellent boots! I normaly wear size 11uk in other brands, so I for order 11uk in my solovairs, fit ok, however if i put an insole they fit tight, so, if you may need to put an insole, si recomend ordering half or even a size up, other than that, i’m very happy with my boots!"

Very good!

"I was eager to compare these Solovair's with the look-a-like boot that has the yellow stitching. I'm pleased to say. . . there is no comparison! These Solovair's are twice the boot of the competition. The leather is nearly twice the thickness and the overall quality is there on full display and as a result, I got what I was expecting when I put my feet in to these boots. . . they are uncomfortable and very stiff. However, I have worn boots for most of my 56 years and one thing I remember the most is this, the most uncomfortable boots to break-in have turned out to be the best ever. I have worn my Solovair's four times now, the most recent for 8 hours straight and I can feel they are starting to soften up and take on the shape of my feet. These are going to be much loved and well worn boots but it will take a while to be fully broken-in and comfortable. If you enjoy fine footwear and don't mind a lengthy break-in time, these are the quality boots you have been looking for."

"This is my daughter’s first pair of Solovair. I’ve been wearing and DMs since I was young, and I still have several pairs that are over 20 years old. I don’t wear them every day anymore, but they’re still going strong. Unfortunately, the last pair of DMs I bought barely lasted six months, so this time I decided to go straight to the source and buy Solovair. The quality is immediately noticeable. I’m not the one wearing these—my daughter absolutely loves them. Will they last 20 years? Probably not, because she’s 15 and plans to wear them constantly. But I’m confident they’ll last far longer than the handful of wears my last pair of DMs managed."

Old School Quality. Good value

"Old School Quality. Good value for how good they are. Beautiful leather. Roughly 12 hours to break in with an insole. This is my third pair of Solovair. The oldest is about 11 years old (black greasy gibsons) and were worn 3-4 days a week. The uppers still look great with modest care."
