Our Goodyear welted footwear is a little larger than most other brands. We would therefore recommend you either purchase a pair of our cushioned socks with our footwear in your regular size, as they offer about 1/2 a size extra fitting, or you go 1/2 a size smaller than you typically wear.

Applying a suede protectant before wearing your footwear for the first time will help guard the surface. A suede brush can be used to remove dust and restore the nap after each use. Suede and Nubuck finishes should be kept away from large amounts of water due to its porous quality.

"Absolutely love these shoes but unfortunately ended up having to return them for a refund due to sizing issue. I never wear anything other than a size 8 and have a pair of Solovair brogues in an 8 that are the same last and they fit fine. However, for some reason these loafers in a size 8 were way too big as was the 7. 5 that I exchanged them for. I then exchanged those for a size 7 and was gutted to find them way too small."
"The construction on these loafers is a cut above any other loafers in their price range, in line with higher priced Northampton brands and better quality than similar styles made in Spain and Portugal that I have previously purchased. I hope these are made in more varieties of leathers."

I've found that these fit my feet almost half a size larger than my standard American/EU size, as there is very little support, and the suede will stretch over time. Overall I'm very happy with the the brown pair, which is actually my second pair of NPS penny loafers (I purchased the black suede six months prior). "My larger foot size is usually 42. 5 EU, and I have trouble finding the right shoes. One shoe fit almost perfectly, but the other was too loose and kept slipping off, so I returned the pair in 42. 5. Now I’m considering trying size 42, but I’m worried it might be too small for one foot. The shoes are beautiful, though, and I really hope to buy something from Solovair."
