Our Goodyear welted footwear is a little larger than most other brands. We would therefore recommend you either purchase a pair of our cushioned socks with our footwear in your regular size, as they offer about 1/2 a size extra fitting, or you go 1/2 a size smaller than you typically wear.

Applying a suede protectant before wearing your footwear for the first time will help guard the surface. A suede brush can be used to remove dust and restore the nap after each use. Suede and Nubuck finishes should be kept away from large amounts of water due to its porous quality.

"Unfortunately for my wallet, these are some of the comfiest socks I've ever worn. They're an excellent accompaniment to my new boots, which want the little bit of padding these socks offer. I can't speak to what they're like in summer or in hotter climes, but for now in wintertime California they're doing an admirable job. I'm knocking off one star because they've quickly begun to pill and get fuzzier than expected, but perhaps this is normal in the lifecycle of an alpaca-nylon sock. They're also hand-wash only, which appears to be uncommon in the greater canon of wool socks like Darn Tough, etc."

"I use woolen socks and thought I have comfortable socks until I purchased these. I now know I have comfortable socks. So good I even bought another batch of 3 pairs. As they are Handwash only I had to check how to wash correctly. Imagine the shock at being told to wear them for at least three days as wool doesn't absorb the nasties other socks thrive on. I have washed the darks together as the dye runs quite a bit, but sqeezing insread of wringing removes a fair amount of water. All in an excellent purchase, and sublimely cmfortable."
