Due to the nature of Gaucho leather used, each product may differ in finish and may require a layer of Dubbin wax to achieve the pictured look.

Applying a suede protectant before wearing your footwear for the first time will help guard the surface. A suede brush can be used to remove dust and restore the nap after each use. Suede and Nubuck finishes should be kept away from large amounts of water due to its porous quality.

"This is my daughter’s first pair of Solovair. I’ve been wearing and DMs since I was young, and I still have several pairs that are over 20 years old. I don’t wear them every day anymore, but they’re still going strong. Unfortunately, the last pair of DMs I bought barely lasted six months, so this time I decided to go straight to the source and buy Solovair. The quality is immediately noticeable. I’m not the one wearing these—my daughter absolutely loves them. Will they last 20 years? Probably not, because she’s 15 and plans to wear them constantly. "Old School Quality. Good value for how good they are. Beautiful leather. Roughly 12 hours to break in with an insole. This is my third pair of Solovair. The oldest is about 11 years old (black greasy gibsons) and were worn 3-4 days a week. The uppers still look great with modest care."

"My feet are wide across the base of the toes but I have very narrow heels, and these just aren’t made for this foot shape. I started with my usual size, which fitted great around the toes but were huge around the heels. Went down half a size, the heel was better but my toes were pinched and the boot was also fractionally too short. Absolutely gutted."

"Love the look and feel of the boot. Fair warning, I have wide feet and needed to purchase a half-size up for the toe to be comfortable (normally wear men size 5, purchased men size 5. 5).
