Rub-Off is a two tone colour with a darker top coat. As this effect is produced by hand the colour may differ slightly to the pictures shown. With general wear, the rub off will become more pronounced, but you can use our Solovair natural renovating cream to maintain the appearance.
Applying a suede protectant before wearing your footwear for the first time will help guard the surface. A suede brush can be used to remove dust and restore the nap after each use. Suede and Nubuck finishes should be kept away from large amounts of water due to its porous quality.

"My 10th pair of Solovair shoes and brogues are a bit of a departure for me, but I love the burgundy rub-off dealer boots, so why not. These shoes are absolutely excellent, they just ooze quality. "Great quality shoes at a good price point for that quality. The top line is quite high for my feet but the inner soles raises them so there's no rubbing. Decent amount of space around my right foot, which is a half size bigger than my left. They both fit fine. "This shoe fits my foot so well. I usually take a U. S. size 10 and this U. K. size 9 1/2 fits my foot very well. The leather seems of good quality and I’m interested to see how the rub-off feature of the dye changes appearance over time. I would buy these shoes again if something happened to them."

"Delighted with these brogues so far. I measured my feet according to the guide which suggested a far smaller size than I'd usually have chosen. I ended up going for my usual size 7 (UK) as I wanted to make sure the toe box wasn't too narrow. Great quality and the sole is so comfortable; leather is a little stiff so I'm breaking them in at home. I didn't buy insoles and they're fine without."
