Our Goodyear welted footwear is a little larger than most other brands. We would therefore recommend you either purchase a pair of our cushioned socks with our footwear in your regular size, as they offer about 1/2 a size extra fitting, or you go 1/2 a size smaller than you typically wear.

Due to the nature of Gaucho leather used, each product may differ in finish and may require a layer of Dubbin wax to achieve the pictured look.
Applying a suede protectant before wearing your footwear for the first time will help guard the surface. A suede brush can be used to remove dust and restore the nap after each use. Suede and Nubuck finishes should be kept away from large amounts of water due to its porous quality.

"Sized large but decided to not bother exchanging as will be used more as a winter boot hence more socks! The grain leather is supple and a big change from my usual high shine choices. Build quality is faultless. Bought in the sale so very happy. I think they will probably see me out. . ."

I was fairly confident when purchasing as the company have a well-known pedigree and reputation, but was still pleasantly surprised by the good service and superb quality when the boots arrived. They are true to expected size, feel robust and hefty (in a good way!), and will be suitable for both work and general wear. I’m still fully wearing them in, but there’s only been a slight rub around the ankles as the leather softens up. Nothing major, no blisters or need to use pads or plasters. "I love these boots so much. They need minimal time to break in and feel comfortable, fit perfectly and look so good. The only thing I underestimated is the time I have to spend to put them on and take them off. I have to pull out the laces about five to six eyes from the top down to get them off."
Greasy leather needs to be fed with Dubbin wax, oil or grease for nourishment. Apply sparingly to avoid creating a dull appearance.
