"Sturdy & well-made. Perfect sole choice, great shape (slightly blobby almond shape), and the last works well. The price is excellent for what you get - uncorrected calf leather, handmade in England. Fit is spot on. Very plain, which is what you want for this style. They hew more casual than dressy - these are a bit too robust for true 'city' shoes - but imo everybody needs a pair of 'officer' shoes. I'd buy them again."
