Our Goodyear welted footwear is a little larger than most other brands. We would therefore recommend you either purchase a pair of our cushioned socks with our footwear in your regular size, as they offer about 1/2 a size extra fitting, or you go 1/2 a size smaller than you typically wear.

Applying a suede protectant before wearing your footwear for the first time will help guard the surface. A suede brush can be used to remove dust and restore the nap after each use. Suede and Nubuck finishes should be kept away from large amounts of water due to its porous quality.

"Nice looking shoes. Unfortunately I had to return them as they were too narrow. My feet are 28cm long, and I ordered a size 9 US. I normally wear a 9.5 US in dress shoes and 10 US in sneakers. I picked size 9 based off the sizing tool. The length was fine but they were too narrow in the vamp and toe box. Also, the heel cup felt a little too low for me. If you have narrow feet, these may be fine, or just order a half to full size larger than what the length suggestion is. These shoes are also pretty stiff, so be prepared to break them in."

"Achieved an ambition to own a pair of Northamptonshire made shoes at last and I am not disappointed by any stretch of the imagination. As a native of the county and with many workers in the industry amongst my forebears, it is a great feeling to connect with past when Northamptonshire boots and shoes were not only the best quality in the world as they still are, but produced the quantity to provide footwear for the whole UK and half the rest of the world too."
