This is our standard fit with a generous round and deeper toe. It generally fits true to size, but if you prefer less room in the toe box area, go down ½ size or fit according to the length of your foot, adding 5 mm to your measurement for comfort

Our Goodyear welted footwear is a little larger than most other brands. We would therefore recommend you either purchase a pair of our cushioned socks with our footwear in your regular size, as they offer about 1/2 a size extra fitting, or you go 1/2 a size smaller than you typically wear.

The boots are a sturdy, thick leather that will have to be broken in, but that's how good shoes should be! I like that the soles have a bit more shape to them than similar boots from other brands. Greasy leather needs to be fed with Dubbin wax, oil or grease for nourishment. Apply sparingly to avoid creating a dull appearance.
