Great boots, excellent look and better than what I had hoped for, just really great for a casual work environment where you don't want to wear trainers and tshirt and they do command a little more respect when you walk into a room, maybe just because you feel great in them!
What I like:
* Smooth leather interior so your foot slides in and out when you put them on and take them off, this is the no1 thing that puts me off boots when i struggle to get in them
* Good quality leather and stitching
* Super comfortable, took about a week and a few blisters to wear in, but once they are it's fine, and probably my soft feet that have become used to trainers
* True to size and fit is great
* For the price, a hand made british leather boot that's less than 180? It's excellent
* Totally molded to my feet now
What I don't like (i'm being hard on them here)
* Minor separation between the rubber sole and leather welt, it's a slight hairline at the moment, i'll monitor and take them to the cobblers to be glued if needed, nothing to warrant any action yet (photo attached)
* The sole is wearing a bit faster than i'd liked, i think it's fine, but the gnurled patters is almost come on the bottom of the boot after a week, i think since this is a fine pattern on the surface and very thin it may not be all that much wear, but i'm keeping an eye on it, I do think a more dense material would be good though
* The last shape is a little tight around the toes, I think a bit more space around the little toe would be nice, although my boots have now stretched a bit and are fine
* For the price, i think the materials are excellent and it's punching good, but don't think the leather is the fancy trade name super thick stuff you read about, it's normal but good quality shoe leather
