SOLOVAIR X MARGARET HOWELL
Margaret Howell is a British contemporary designer well known for androgynous styles combining traditional shapes with modern appeal. Designing both men's and women's apparel, Margaret Howell describes her collections as 'updated modern classics' with 'understated quality'. Inspired by functional designs and the method by which they're made, Howell collaborates with manufacturers who understand and share a passion for well-made and enduring quality. In 2004, the MHL by Margaret Howell line was launched in collaboration with many British and European manufacturers contributing to quality-made work-wear inspired pieces.
Since 2013, NPS Shoes has manufactured for the MHL by Margaret Howell collection. This includes seasonal designs like the Fireman Shoe or the Monkey Boot which forms part of the brands core styles. Based on Solovair's Classic Monkey Boot silhouette, Howell's design features black welt stitching and a simple black heel loop for a modern unisex aesthetic.
